I was born in Wroclaw, Poland and I was educated at the Academy of Fine Arts.

I am a printmaker and have been working in this medium for the past 25 years. The techniques I use include dry point etching and Lino reduction. I have also developed a technique in which I use the printing press to emboss an image so that it is in relief.

My focus is on the relationships between line, shape, surface, secrets and emotional states. I enjoy the element of chance in printmaking and the risk taken to realise an image.

I moved to England in 2010, where I continued my art practice tutored students preparing for their GCSEs and A levels.

I was elected a member of the SGFA in 2014.
