Mark Lippett is an award winning Fine Artist from Staffordshire in the West Midlands. He is mostly known for his architectural work depicting abandoned buildings, which have been exhibited across the UK in a number of solo and group shows. He has also had work included in open exhibitions including RBSA, RWA, NEAC and SGFA.
His atmospheric drawings and paintings depict quiet and unpopulated landscapes both urban and natural. Many of the pieces explore the relationship between people and the environment and how this is affected by the passage of time.
Working mostly in drawing and painting, Mark’s work is detailed but also expressive. He uses a wide variety of mark making techniques in different mediums, favouring pencils and acrylic paint.
