Will Taylor is a printmaker and fine artist. He favours traditional line techniques in etching, pen, charcoal and silverpoint, and his work always contains a strong element of drawing. Recurring themes in his work are animals, Kent buildings and the natural landscape.
He was born in 1963, grew up in Liverpool and qualified as a Mechanical Engineer at Imperial College, London. After a career that culminated in leading projects around the world for a major international Management Consultancy, in 2001 he returned to his first passion of art. He attended short schools at the Slade School of Fine Art and Kent Institute of Art and Design but otherwise is predominantly self-taught.
He works from his home studio in Frittenden in the Weald of Kent.
