trained as an Architect, Leeds College of Art 1948-53
Started to paint and exhibit whilst still a student.
Exhibited:- RA RI RBA NEAC SGFA UA , "Singer and Friedlander Watercolour Competition", "Discerning Eye", "Not the RA", A Million Brush Strokes" [Commended and Masters Award].
One Man Exhibitions:- Bath, York, Canterbury, various mixed exhibitions.
Work in private and public collections in USA and France as well as England.
Commissioned work for Interior Designers, Architects and museums.
