Derek Carter studied architecture in the late 1940's but left
archtectural school to join the RAF. After the services, he followed a
business career. In 1990 he became a full-time artist.
His range of work covers figurative subjects and abstracts. Recently, much of his work has been cityscapes of London.
He has exhibited at the ROI, the Pastel Society and the SGFA
