The Society of Graphic Fine Art

Information for Journalists

The Society of Graphic Fine Art exists to promote fine drawing skills with brush, pen, charcoal, conte and other media, and any of the forms of original printmaking. Oil painting, pure watercolour, painting with no emphasis on drawing, computer generated images and all forms of reproduction or copy are not admissible in its exhibitions.
Full Members are entitled to use the letters SGFA after their name, and Associate Members ASGFA.

History
Founded in 1919 to “proclaim the value of good draughtsmanship”.

Annual Open Exhibition in London. The 90th Annual Open Exhibition will be held at the Menier Gallery, 51 Southwark Street, London, SE1 1RU. Open from Monday 3rd October to Saturday 15th October, 10.00am to 6.00pm [ not open Sunday ].
